Bad Merit Collective
A collective of only two people is probably not a good one.
Work
Right now, we have two ongoing projects:
About
What's a collective of two people? A sad marriage, turned into a bad marriage, turned into bad merit, turned into Bad Merit Collective.
Bad Merit is run by Merle Elisa Manthey (pronounced ˈmantaɪ̯) and Nat Wanaket, two writer friends from opposite sides of the world - Berlin and Chiang Mai. They wrote together for years before it occurred to them to write a writing project together - and so they did, just about a year ago, with Just A Little Experiment on Substack housing both their widely diverse writing projects. It was soon evident that a complete lack of thematic coherence proved... well, incoherent. Thus, a second project (and an even nobler attempt at the immense task that is organization) was born. Essayer (French for to try) is housed on Tuhat, collecting essays what they term their best and bravest attempts at critical thinking. Just A Little Experiment trundles on, now exclusively housing fiction works and poetry.
With two projects already running and plans for more itching cheerfully at them, they decided that a writing collective was probably the most appropriate (and coolest) way to go.Welcome to Bad Merit Collective.
Contact
Bad Merit Collective can be contacted via email. But it is (lo and behold) also run by a pair of individuals. Which means each of them can be contacted individually as well.
Try your luck. Gambling is addictive though, so be careful.
